Who I help:
I work with people hoping to learn about themselves, the way their multiple identities impact their day-to-day lives, and the support they need to make real changes. Marginalized communities face specific challenges that impact adjusting to adulthood. I am passionate about my work with the BIPOC & LGBTQ+ communities, as well as, women and college students.
How I help:
Starting therapy can be intimidating, and I pride myself on creating a welcoming and comfortable therapeutic space. In our sessions, I will take the "passenger seat", collaborating with you to create real goals and overcome challenges together while using CBT, ACT and Mindfulness. My empathy and authenticity will show through in every session, and I hope it encourages you to come as your true self!
What my clients say about working with me:
My clients say that I am nonjudgmental, empathetic and relatable. I provide a safe space for clients to explore thoughts and experiences, as well as process deeply rooted feelings in a warm and compassionate way. I have also had many clients appreciate the manner in which I may challenge maladaptive thoughts, or provide a ‘gentle nudge’ when needed.
Off the clock:
I enjoy meditation, walks with my pup Tiki, hosting game nights with friends, trying new restaurants and coloring. When I have extra time, I like to go to concerts and anything music related!
